Browser-first mind mapping

Let your ideas find their shape.

MindFlowr is a focused visual workspace for turning a first thought into a map you can explore, rearrange and share—without putting a cloud account between you and your ideas.

A clear space for messy thinking.

Start small, follow a branch, move things around and keep the structure as loose or precise as your thinking needs.

Shape ideas naturally

Grow topics, notes, lists and connections directly on the canvas. Reorganising is part of the thought process, not a separate formatting task.

Keep momentum

MindFlowr runs in the browser, saves locally and opens straight into your map. No account is required to begin capturing an idea.

Think together

Bring a small group of up to 5 people into a live peer-to-peer session. See presence, selections and changes while keeping the map experience immediate.

From private thought to shared canvas.

Your local map remains the starting point. Collaboration is a deliberate action, entered through a private invitation.

Create in your browser

Your map stays in this browser. Save a portable MindFlowr file whenever you want a backup.

Start collaboration

Share a private invite link when you want others to join your map and work with you live.

Build it together

Everyone sees ideas move and grow as they work, making it easy to think as one group.

Your map is not the product.

Your mindmap stays on your device—not on a central MindFlowr server.
When you choose to collaborate, it’s shared only with the people you invite.

Local by default

Nodes, notes, structure and local history are stored in your browser rather than sent to a MindFlowr document server.

Private collaboration

Only the people you invite receive the shared map. Their devices exchange map and cursor updates directly, without storing the mindmap on the signaling service or another central document server.

Honest metadata boundary

The signaling infrastructure can observe ordinary connection metadata and the random room topic, plus encrypted payload sizes and timing—but not the map or participant names.

You keep control

Leaving a session stops sharing from this browser. People who already received a collaborative copy may still retain it, just as they could retain any file you shared.

Privacy FAQ

Where is my mindmap stored?

By default, it is stored in your browser on this device. You can also save a portable MindFlowr file as a backup.

What changes when I start collaboration?

The map is shared only with the devices of people who join through your private invitation. During the session, its data exists on those participating devices—not on a central MindFlowr document server.

What does the signaling service receive?

It sees ordinary connection metadata, a random room topic, and encrypted discovery traffic. It cannot read your mindmap, participant names, cursors, or room secret.

Does MindFlowr use analytics?

Only after you choose to allow it. Visit analytics never includes your mindmap content, and declining means the analytics service is not loaded.

Can another participant keep a copy?

Yes. Someone who received the shared map may retain a local or exported copy after the session ends, just as they could with any file you shared with them.

Infrastructure such as a hosting reverse proxy may retain standard access metadata according to its configuration. MindFlowr's signaling application does not persist room data or include IPs, Origins, topics, payloads, invitations or room keys in its structured logs.
